Michael's Little sister? Who is Joh'Vonnie Jackson?

Michael Jackson's teen years have been profiled in books and movies. But it's never been revealed that his parents, Katherine and Joseph, were nearly divorced when he was 15 years old. According to legal documents obtained by this column, Katherine Jackson, disgusted by her husband's philandering, obtained a petition for divorce on March 9, 1973, and filed it with the Los Angeles County clerk. According to several people, Katherine Jackson was finally convinced to rescind the divorce papers at the urging of elders at her church. Katherine also attempted to divorce her husband in or around 1979, but again was persuaded to drop the action, my sources said.

One motivation for Katherine's unhappiness, at least in the second instance, was the revelation that her husband had fathered a love child with his mistress. That child, a girl named Joh'Vonnie Jackson, is now 35, lives with Joseph Jackson in Las Vegas and for some time worked at that city's McCarran International Airport. Joh'Vonnie's mother is Cheryl Terrell. Joseph Jackson's extramarital affairs, including one with a Motown Records assistant named Gina Sprague, have been detailed in a TV movie about the Jackson family as well as in several books, including one by the Jacksons' daughter La Toya.

In her 1990 memoir "Growing Up in the Jackson Family," La Toya wrote that during the tumultuous early '70s, when the Jackson 5 were busy accumulating hits and touring all over the world, her mother never considered divorce. The papers indicate otherwise. Joh'Vonnie Jackson has held several positions at McCarran Airport, including working as a baggage handler. She is not included in Jackson family events and has never visited Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch.

When the Jackson siblings appeared in court together to show solidarity for Michael, Joh'Vonnie was not present. Neither Michael nor Janet has ever referred to Joh'Vonnie in any interviews. On Katherine Jackson's 1973 divorce petition, she listed the five of her nine children who were still minors at the time: La Toya, Marlon, Michael, Steven (aka Randy) and Janet. Rebbie, Tito, Jackie, and Jermaine were all over 18 by that time. Joh'Vonnie, the youngest child of Joseph Jackson, is eight years the junior of Janet, who was born in 1966. Even though neither of Katherine Jackson's divorce petitions was ever finalized, the couple do not live together, insiders say. Katherine spends most of her time in Encino, Calif., and Joseph lives in Las Vegas. Joh'Vonnie is also mention in-dept in the book "Michael Jackson: The Magic, The Madness, The Whole Story, 1958-2009" which can be found below.

DID MICHAEL JACKSON COMMIT SUICIDE?

It has been reported in some media around the globe that police in L.A. may report that from their findings it would appear that Michael Jackson had committed suicide.
Michael who was found collapsed in his mansion's bedroom was said to be depressed and under a lot of pressure to pull out a major comeback. My personal take on this is that Michael Jackson loved his kids way too much to ever think of suicide.

Michael Jackson Still Alive?

Michael Jackson is dead at 50 years old on June 25 2009. The "King of Pop" was an icon around the globe with millions of fans worldwide. But how could this have happened? What contributed to Michael Jackson's death? Many say it was his prescription drug use. Perhaps it was the stress on the "Mega" come-back he was planning. This knowledge is still unknown however there is another method Jackson was reported as using a few years back while still in his prime as his "Bad" tour was taking place. Through audio recordings Michael Jackson was said to be able to program his brains frontal lobes to weed out interferences and open up the communication channels inside his mind that are blocked by the conscious mind. This was said to become the main source of inspiration for Michael's post "Thriller" album. The audio recordings would later prove to become priceless as it has now sold over thousands of copies worldwide.

While it is not clear if Jackson used the recordings up until his tragic passing, it was very clear that Michael Jackson had a flare for the unknown and often reflected on "New Age" literature from his personal library.

He was fascinated with magic and always spoke about his awareness of "a higher presences". As we all look back on his fascinating life which was cut too short let us not forget that he is still with us in song and spirit and we all all owe a debt to the king of pop Michael Jackson for the massive contribution this one man has made to this world. So "the King" is not dead. We miss you Michael Jackson, may your soul be in peace now!
